I've got work shortly, so I'm going to make this short so I have time for a shower.
June totally hijacked this one! The last line was supposed to be him making a really awkward subject change, and Beth was going to threaten him if he finished his statement... But her art basically made Beth's line unnecessary, and body language made it clear that he was avoiding the topic, but in a much more amusing way... At least in my opinion.
Our last house offer stalled, I might have already mentioned it... We tried to work around it, but it would have cost too much money to dodge the roadblocks, so we're letting it go into foreclosure, and see how things turn out there. If you ever buy a house, Mortgage Broker = Awesome. Bank = Not awesome. We got something like 1% off our interest rate from what the bank that we've used for 10ish years offered us. So yeah, find a decent mortgage broker and call them before you buy a house ;)
I spent most of the night doing non-comic related artwork and it really relaxed me. Sometimes I feel like all I do is the comic and it was great to just kick back and do something new for a change. My daughter's friend who is also an artist drew me a kawaii little fox-girl line art. So I scanned it and decided to colour it up all pretty. If she says it is ok, I will post a link so you all can see!
Other than that, I had a blast sketching out a new character "Karl" that is coming up. You'll see what that is all about soon enough! TEE HEE!
PS Sorry for the obvious cut and paste of the background. It's Effigy's fault.
