Welcome to a much considered Monday Comic. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to work the pamphlet without it feeling awful.. We were going to slip a comic in between the last one and this now, and then we were going to put it next as an in continuity comic... But the timing on these two are pretty specific, so it was difficult.
Sooooo.. We decided that we'll put this one up as intended, it marks the end of the day, and would have marked the end of the pink bunneh shirt if not for June's preference for drawing it. We decided that we're going to make good on a promise that I made my youngest son that we would develop his joke into a comic, and June's got some ideas to make it pretty nifty. I've seen parts of it, and I think it's worth the spot.
You may have noticed a new banner at the top.. We've had someone take us up on the offer for free ad space, and will keep it up probably until we get Project Wonderful going and then we'll keep a banner of roughly that size at the top, and put a bunch of smaller ones at the bottom so that people can put up some free advertising a little easier.
We'll see you on Thursday with the special "R.Z. kid inspired comic", and the pamphlet will be Monday to Friday next week. Thanks for voting, we were glad to stay much higher than our old ranking last month.
Hello there! I always don't know what to say because James says it all usually in his note. Then I'm left there all dumb and just smiling and shyly waving, only to spit out something stupid about the drawing and run back to my hidey-hole.
I guess that is why he is the writer and I am the drawer :P
That being said, the drawing in this one was pretty fun. I had several versions of panel 3 done and this one seemed to be the best. I think James agreed. I was particularly pleased with Beth's nails digging into the couch. She is a feisty one, isn't she? I seemed to sense it. I think that's why we made her a red head. Also, Beth's got some nice legs going on! She should show them off more often, don't you think?
Poor John. He must be so confused right now. She's very sexy, but scary! I'm sure John has noticed that Beth is an attractive lady... But let's not forget that she *is* a zombie!
Hehe, the last two panels are absolutely awesome, for completely different reason of course. ^_^
But honestly, blanket pulled up, helmet, bat AND nightlight... I bet the door is locked too.

Great job, you two.
I have to say that the last panel of this one is my favorite in the entire comic so far. I just love the blanket and you really captured that sort of feeling you get when you're younger and have just gone to bed after watching that horror movie you weren't supposed to see. XD
June was always pretty good at drawing cloth :) I think that this is a time when her other drawing styles helped her comic drawing style more directly ;)
