Also, very nice rust effects on the interior of the truck. Really a nice detail there :)
@bbedlam - That's me, writing definitive proof to help out the abductionists... :)
@Drivinallnight - Thank you :)
@model S - Maaaybe :D
@Darkond2100 - Moms come equipped with extra sensors that see through tin foil... It's a thing that they do ;)
@Frosty - I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
@Martian Samurai - Well, whatever's going on, it seems to have worked :)
It's actually quite hard to kill a cell phone signal entirely (you can't do it with tin foil in the real world), but being in a closed metal van would plausibly dampen it enough to make it disappear if their towers are cheap enough.
- Jake
What happens if he has to pee, while wearing the foil, and for that matter do zombies (who have to eat) ever need to go? Too many questions!
I don't remember him at all.
According to what I read, some signals are reduced while others are amplified... Of course, I wouldn't say that I did a crazy amount of research on it ;)
@Martian Samurai - I'm glad that you picked up on the fact that he doesn't know where it is... And the foil was just off some shelves...
@Tsarmina Silvertrap - :D
@T.Gatto - The zombies don't have to pee, no. At best, it would be a "Hey look at how human I am!" thing.
@snoog - Alexander was the original leader of the PSOs, found as a head in Robert's room in 100. He has been in it primarily with Chad and Beth lately.
@Martian Samurai - Haha, well, ideally this is a more robust system :)
@model S - That would be pretty funny :D "Wait, all this time it's just been taped to the back of our necks? Really? Damn."
But anyway this proves conspiracy theroiest are right. As for the gps signal being blocked this easily the comic must be taking place in the US our wireless network suxs.
@aok: he's no longer speaking in all caps i think cause people always commented they thought he was always yelling.
@Hornet - Haha :D I don't think that we've stated exactly where it is at this point, because what the name of the place that it used to be is kind of pointless now.
@aok666 - I screwed up :) It's one of many strips that I have to fix, unfortunately. But it's great that you noticed!
@model S - Uhhh no. He's not speaking in that font because I forgot that I was supposed to use that font for him ;)
("It brings all the boys to the yard")
so presumably Fives can speak in the Three/Four style? Maybe Robert was speaking Four-style to try and calm down the panicking switchboard person?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!
Oh, and I should probably go through and replace all those "wont"s with "won't"s :D
@the_brigand - I think he was also the murderous dictator on House? But it's been a while, so I could be misremembering...
@Stephen Walker - Well, John was rescued from Robert's lab. Thomas was a friend of Robert's who was also in his lab.
@fortunado1972 - Yeah, the Lead Foil Man sounds like a hero from the ... well, from the Lead Age of Comics :P Not that the Silver or Golden Age were necessarily immune to horrible ideas.. :D
