1) The art looks great, Skrael :P
2) EVEN MORE SUBPAR THAN USUAL!?
I like the new layout. I particularly like the new banner! Though it feels a little weird having all the ads and whatnot on the left, instead of the right. That said, It seems functional, and it undoubtedly looks better than the current setup.
@model S - I'm glad you liked it :D
@Lawelite - It might be Head and Shoulders, after seeing that football guys hair expansion :D
@Nash - I really like the new banner, it's probably my favourite part of the new site ;) And the current setup is a broken version, so that doesn't take much ;D
@Spinnerlink - Me too.
@MatthewJA - Awwww, he's going to ruin the romance... oh wait, Sylene already did ;)
@Ghost286 - Hehe, devious Thomas :D
Phantom, why not bring in a Violin player and serenade her while your at it?
2) I also get the impression that brain consumption acts the same way as growing up: Ones are like medium-sized babies (eating everything, not capable of doing much except eat and get food), Twos are like toddlers -> older children, Threes are like teenagers -> adults (Sylene, a low Three, definitely acts like a teenager) and Fours... are higher than most humans develop to. Am I stating the totally obvious here? Sorry.
@aok666 - There are certain similarities, but Chuck is a Three as well, and he doesn't act terribly teenaged... Ones are totally id based, with very little except the hunger driving them. I think that June has given Thomas more personality for comedic sake, but on the whole, they are pretty bland so far as personality goes...
Beyond that, they regain some intelligence, and some restraint with regards to the hunger. A 4 would eventually devolve mentally to the level of a One if they didn't receive TOGM for long enough... They would be unable to do anything except try to get access to brains in whatever capacity they could..
So there are multiple analogies that you can apply, but growing up seems just as valid as most, if you accept the caveats to it...
The page looks fine! Sylene looks a little bit like she's tearing her hair out.
(Hope June gets well soon!)
@june: hun your art is never subpar. you may not be da-vinchi, or someone like that, but you know what? your art is wonderful june. i've seen the mona lisa up close, and let me tell you your art impresses me FAR more.
i just wanted to make sure you heard that.
So Sylene and the phantom obviously the begining of something there why else would they even talk about dating. I'm feeling sorry for zombie Thomas though everyone's just ignring him.
It's nice to see Sylene suffer though serves her right for being so self obsessed.
As for beth and John well sooner or later John's gonna try to find out where beth is then terrible things will probaply happen. I can't wait.
I'm not feeling better yet, but I plan to spend most of tomorrow in my PJs sipping tea and eating chicken soup!
@Hornet - If you lived in a third world country and commanded troops ;P
@aok666 - Oh, yes, I did miss that part :)
@W - You can just imagine how Sylene imagines the various situations... "We're going out tonight... I'll be taking the van, you'll be in the sack in the back."
@model S - She hears it, even if she doesn't always respond ;)
@Hornet - But you have to get muuuch smaller girls if you want to fit them into a phone. Gives new meaning to Size 0, I'd say.
@model S - And cheaper!
@aok666 - Junk texts would be the worst of those :P
@model S - Yeah, but they might not be so inclined to give you a slew of TOGM to feed your abduction team ;)
@aok666 - See, that's the kind of thinking that builds a good rebellion!
@model S - Sacks are definitely good for quick and correct.
@snoog - I'm sure that's good for the pocketbook though :) Glad to see you back, and that you're enjoying it still :D
@D_Man - Crazy stalker 'love' is definitely one of a kind ;)
@Syaoran - Not to mention all the other occasions that they could break it out... And on special occasions, they could BOTH be in a sack... wait, this is getting weird.
@Barrahir - :O You still read the comic?
@aok666 - Awww, thanks :) No horrible names needed!
@loved it so far - I'm glad you're enjoying it, thanks for reading!
did you ever decide what became of animals in the TOGMverse?
Also, @Magravan&Skrael: since zombies don't go to the loo and presumably don't fart, what happens when John farts/starts hopping about in need of a loo in front of zombies other than Beth?
And is TOGM poisonous to humans?
@Syaoran - Yeah, that's what makes life worth living... Feeling awkward :D
@aok666 - He claims that he's a prototype :D Now with pooping action!
@model S - Well, you're free to make an animal... It's a guest comic :P
And who on earth would want an enhancement like farting/going to the loo?
And I don't want talking animals :D
A lot of the things that we don't enjoy having as humans would still be something that they would want... Just because a greater degree of humanness is a social status symbol ;)
So Sylene COULD have been farting in the police interview... :-)
There have to be some animals, otherwise The Real R.Z.'s comic couldn't work (the tale of R.Z. and Beth going to the petshop, and all R.Z. wants is a pet brain) - and you don't want to disappoint The Real R.Z. now, do you? (Does he have the initials RZ?)
@model S - Well... Not keen on animals surviving at present. So you can file it under the "It hasn't been completely denied, so I'm using that wiggle room" category ;D
@aok666 - I'm sure he's already forgotten about it, so I don't think he'll be terribly upset :D
And no, RZ was a code name for him that just stuck :D
@Sleel - That's a good point... But I do have Robert... Given the fact that he would want to keep the humans alive, I can imagine that he would have introduced something to regulate the environment on a global scale ;)
