Poor John... I guess he thought she wasn't joking... I bet he's wishing coffee was still around.. The injustices keep coming. At this rate, would any reader blame me if he fed himself head first to Beth?
As much as I'm glad that we did the flyer for the sake of getting that information out there, I'm glad to be back doing the main story again. Maybe we'll do something like that again sometime, but I'm hoping it's not any time soon. I'd like to forge ahead, and keep this story moving.
On the good news front: We've got a domain name purchased, just waiting on the transfer... So that's good. It'll make it easier for us to tell people where to go to read the comic. Also, we're celebrating our 8 year anniversary tomorrow of the day where we officially got married. Movie and dinner! ... at home.. after the kids go to bed... :) We're saving up for a house, and going out is expensive :D Still, we'll have fun ;)
For Christmas I bought June "Warbreaker" by Brandon Sanderson in hardcover, which he actually had put up for free as an E-book before it was even published. She's very into colours and such, so I thought she might enjoy it. Sadly, his Hero of Ages and Well of Ascension wasn't in stock at Chapters, and I was already running behind. Those at least I know she really likes. :) If you're interested in checking his work out, as I mentioned, Warbreaker is up for free as an e-book, and the Mistborn trilogy is fantastic. Check out his website for all sorts of stuff. Highly recommended!
Anyways, see you on Thursday with 17, and possibly at some point with another bonus image of some sort that has yet to be determined.
For Christmas, one of my best gifts was from James. He picked me up a hardcover copy of Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson. I really, really enjoyed his Mistborn series, and to a smidgen of a lesser degree, Elantris. I can't wait until I get enough of a buffer going and/or things slow down a bit so that I can start to read it!
Graphic designer/artist babble:
In other news, I've been having problems with my drawing tablet lately, and it's been annoying the frick out of me. I am using a Wacom Intuos 3 wide format, and every so often the brush dynamics in Photoshop keep deactivating, even though the box is ticked. Unticking and reticking the box does not bring it back, neither does changing the brush altogether. The only way to fix it is to close Photoshop, open up my tablet properties, change the prssure senstivity a degree higher or lower, then re-open Photoshop again. After that is appears to work fine again for a while. I have all of the most current drivers installed as well. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the whole thing. Any other advice on this matter? have any of you had this issue before?
Also, I would like to wish my loving husband, James (Magravan) a Happy Anniversary! It has been 8 years now, and going strong! I love you, baby! XOXOXOX Mwah mwah mwah!

and happy anniversary :)
What about clutching a Teddy-bear? That any help?
PS: Happy Confabulation, Conflagrations and Confrontations to your anniversary.
PS HI SYA!
PS- HI HI!
My only solution so far is to keep restarting Photoshop until it works. And sometimes even if it works, I can close it out to go do something else (not shut down the computer either), and when I come back it's broken again.
...which of course seems odd if it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.
Maybe try an older driver, most XP-drivers from Wacom actually work for Vista.
Not to mention that you often CAN use a tablet without any drivers at all.
