Hello hello! Welcome to Comic #8 :) Halfway through my nightshift, so forgive me any stupidity in this comment.
This comic makes it crystal clear that John is not just a discombobulated zombie, but a genuine, honest to goodness zombie buffet! Now, June has said "Why doesn't she just eat him?" Which makes sense.. But Beth has a particular past that makes her act according to principles rather than selfish desires... I wanted to write this in so that people realize that there is the underlying desire to eat his brain in everything that Beth will do. She's just choosing the higher road.
Those of you who voted have already seen this outfit... Fitting clothes are not a huge priority for those who can't afford it, so all that Beth would have on hand would be cast offs meant for Ones or Twos... And June wanted to draw him in a pink shirt. Girls are weird.

I was really impressed with how cute Beth came out in this one. I think she is definitely developing into an interesting character.
I would write more but I'm sick and pouty and all I want to do is curl up in my blankie and whine.
