Well, we had the contest on Saturday, and the winner has yet to reply to my email about it. Hope those who participated enjoyed some of the comics, and even if you missed the comics, feel free to check them out. That's some good stuff right there.
As for this comic, John's turn to snap! :D Again, had a bit of difficulty with the 'argument with a punchline' thing that I've mentioned before. Edited the flow of his rant a bit, hopefully it worked out a little better.. Does anyone have trouble reading the font? I started off with the one I use for the title and found it was oddly clear.. I guess I'm just trying to find a balance between words and bubbles that helps it be more readable.
In unrelated news, we got to #4 on Comicfury's most popular list, so thank you for everyone who is subscribed to us, and ideally enjoys our comic. We're grateful for the readers that we have ;) Tell your friends, we'll be grateful for them too!
And some forewarning... Thursday's comic is one of those comics that is a combination of "Something that needs to go in", "Giving the Artist a chance to get further ahead on the art" and "A Cheap, hokey joke." I hate to do it, but it's probably for the best.. and at least it's not guest week, right? Right?! ... Just kidding, TOGM guest week will rock when we eventually need to have one... :)
Hopefully some of you are still here on Monday :) Thanks again for reading :)
I don't know? I think that a guest comic = a comic with an actual story or something, whereas fanart is just a nifty picture. We've blurred the lines before, I'm sure we can do it again :D
I would think a non-continuity guest comic would be welcome, it's mostly the same as fan art any way right? Or was Laurie asking about making an in-continuity comic in my place? I'd be ok with that *evil grin*
Hahaha :) Definitely an interesting question... I hadn't thought of it..
They do if the story needs them to? I might have them ski jump a shark, just so everyone knows when we've given up, but will still continue to put out comics in order to fail most miserably :D
Haha! I didn't even think of that ;) Sometimes, I think he has a little brain... Yelling at the woman who hasn't killed you is not the smartest of ideas...
The above comment is mine. :S
@Barrahir - Seems so, yes :)
